The vast majority of government student loans cannot be gotten rid of easily, even filing for bankruptcy will not resolve these debts. The only way that these types of loans can be taken care of in bankruptcy is if you can prove that they are a substantial hardship on you and your finances and this is a pretty hard ting to do in most cases, especially since the rest of your debts will be taken care of with the bankruptcy filing.

If you do wish to try to get your student loans discharged you will have to prove that there is no way you will be able to pay this debt according to the schedule that has been laid out, that even in time you will still not be able to pay it according to the same schedule and that you have tried unsuccessfully in the past. A good faith effort is necessary. This means that you have not tried lying to your creditors and that you are working as much as you can to get the money that you need but are still coming up short.

What can be discharged and what cannot can also fall directly onto the shoulders of the bankruptcy judge. If you are lucky and you get a judge that allows for these discharges then you might just get away without having to pay off these loans, or at least part of them. In many places it is left up to the judge to go with their own gut feeling.

Keep in mind that while it is true that lenders cannot be sending you bills to pay while you are in bankruptcy, they have to wait until it is over, that does not by any means mean that interest will not be accruing on your loan. And since you do not have to pay, most people don't and once they come out of bankruptcy they find themselves in a whole new batch of trouble than when they went in.

Student loans are flexible loans, they have many more options than some other loans out there. If you find yourself having trouble paying off your student loans let the lender know. Tell them exactly what the problem is and they will most likely be willing to work with you to get around it. If the plan and the schedule that you have set is just not a possible one for you to follow then talk to the lender about coming up with a new one. The thought of contacting lenders scares most people but it works, you are not going to get in more trouble, in fact what you are doing is heading trouble off at the pass. If you have defaulted on your loan you will even find such programs as rehabilitation programs that help you get you out of default. These programs are great, all you have to do is show your good faith effort by paying a lower amount for a set period of time. If you manage to stick to this it will show the lender that you can be depended upon and the lender can take you out of default.

Another route that many people take instead of bankruptcy is loan consolidation. The Direct Loan Servicing Center, working under the auspices of the Department of Education will give you several different options to choose from if you need some help to pay off your loans. Their standard plan is a great one, it is simple and it is effective. All you have to do is pay $50 each and every month until the balance is paid off in full or until 10 years is up, whichever comes first. There is another plan which will keep you paying for anywhere from 12 to 30 years. While this is a great option for those who just don't have much money at all it is one of the most expensive ones simply because 30 years of interest really adds up to a significant amount of money. These are just a couple of the payment plans that you can find available to you. If you are in financial trouble talk to your lender! So you might not be able to resolve your debt completely all at once, at least there are options out there that will give you some peace of mind.

The Declaration of Independence

If you had to think of one document other than the Bible that people can most easily quote almost without thinking about it, that one document would be the Declaration of Independence. The comparison to the Bible is apt. Not that the Declaration of Independence is holy in a religious sense of the word. But it has a place of reverence in the hearts of the American people and in the history of the founding of this great nation.

While not the first words of the Declaration of Independence, these stirring words have that kind of prophetic power that anyone who hears them in immediately inspired by the beauty, the poetry and the deep truths that were so beautifully expressed in that historic document.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

This one statement from that famous declaration so beautifully demonstrates some core principles that show why this document has such a deep impact on the American mind and heart. The statement that the truths in this document were indeed truths is a profound statement in its own right. The Declaration of Independence does that suggest that what is being declared in those pages are theories, possibilities, even political ideology. These are truths which puts them on the same value as statements of values as often taught in a religious setting. Truths are eternal values and values that are not changed by circumstances, by whomever or whatever is handling the government of the land or by the whim of lawmakers. These truths exist above those temporal earthly ideas and live on that plain of the eternal.

“Self evident” is a powerful phrase and it reflects on the founder’s belief in what was called natural law. Natural law is the belief system that there are laws that are part of our natural state of existence and that they cannot be taken away (inalienable). These laws are our rights as creations of the almighty and any government system must recognize these laws because they are above government. It is a basic belief system of the American system that ALL people are entitled to these rights and that they cannot be taken away.

The mention of a creator in the declaration of independence is very important because there are those who would maintain that the separation of church and state tells us that the government is at heart a secular institution. Clearly the founders did not lay the foundation of our country on that groundwork. They saw the inheritance we as Americans have in our rights and freedoms to be part of our legacy from God and as such, above the government and something the government must back off and leave alone as well as prettiest and defend.

The Declaration of Independence is truly an amazing document especially when you consider the “primitive” state of the nation when it was written by Thomas Jefferson and signed on July 2, 1776 to become the backbone of our American system of government. It became an often referenced and quoted document, even becoming a part of President Lincoln’s famous inaugural speech when he said with such deep conviction…

Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal."

Because these words are such a deep part of our American heritage, American history and the American spirit, they are often a crucial center part of any study of history in the schools in this country. That is why school children in every state are so familiar with these words.

But it would do us all well to take some time once a year or so and take our copy of the Declaration of Independence and read it either as a private moment of reflection nor with our families. What a wonderful fourth of July tradition that would make. Then as you watch the fireworks celebrating the birth of the country and its independence, you will have those words fresh in your heart to remind you that it was our creator that gave us our freedoms and independence and nobody has the right to ever take them away.

Glyconutrition all eyes on newton

Glyconutrition and the silence in Parliament:

Sir Isaac Newton is not generally associated with medicine and biology, much less glyconutrition. Newton lived 1642-- 1727, a period now referred to as the Age of Newton. However, you don't get an entire age named after you unless you have done something spectacular…like inventing the calculus…or discovering the law of gravity and the laws of optics.

His impact was so enormous, even in his own lifetime, people of all stations in life wanted to get just a glimpse of him…or hear anything he had to say. Problem was, he was very sensitive and shy, so words didn't come easily, ergo, he didn't say much.

Except in the lecture hall of the University, where very occasionally he did lecture. (Granted, not on glyconutrition but we haven't gotten there yet).

There…he did open his mouth. Imagine, sitting through a lecture of the world's greatest scientist, who didn't know when to stop lecturing on subjects his students couldn't understand. That may be the real origin of the expression, “In every fat book there is a thin book trying to get out.”

In any event, because of his enormous popularity as the greatest mathematician and scientist in history, he was elected to the Parliament of England. I guess people just figured if they could get him involved in politics, he might say something which they could go home and quote.

So, he sat in Parliament year after year and never uttered a peep. Not a single syllable. At least, not until one day, in the middle of an intensely debated issue in Parliament, Sir Isaac suddenly stood up. Immediately, Parliament was silent as all eyes were upon Sir Newton. Mustering such abilities as he was capable of producing for the drama of the moment, Sir Isaac turned sheepishly and asked that the window be closed because of the draft.

Not a particularly moving event. But, it became buzz nonetheless.

Glyconutrition: Accessing the nutrients is a key to health.

So what does all of this have to do with glyconutrition?

Actually, we don't remember Isaac having anything to do with glyconutrition. There's a good reason for that. Medical science still hadn't discovered bacteria under the microscope, let alone the 8 sugars which comprise the key molecules in glyconutrition, observable only under the electron microscope.

But, Sir Isaac and the people of “merry ole England” were unconsciously accessing glyconutrition far more readily than we do today…through their diet:

· Glyconutrition supplied the essential ingredients of protection for newborns who were breast fed. The sugars involved with glyconutrion are present in surprising quantities for the baby.

· Garlic, certain saps and quite a few of the herbs rich in glyconutrition, were part of the diet in merry 'ole England of that day.

· England didn't then resort to “green harvests”, processed foods, chemical preservatives which destroy glyconutrition. Indeed, our society depletes the soil, processes food for taste and convenience and introduces toxins that overwhelm our immune system. What little glyconutrition we do get, is simply not enough to do the job.

· Instead, glyconutrition was not processed out of the corn, oats, barley, wheat, leeks, carrots, radishes, pears, and red wine of that society. Granted they had other problems (like the Black Death), but not for lack of glyconutrition.

· Fruits are loaded with pectins (such as apple pectins) and are instrumental in providing glyconutrition.

It is, for that reason, “merry ole England” did not see the huge epidemics in so many categories of diseases as we do today:

· Overactive Immune deficiencies include food allergies, pollen and grass allergies, asthma, eczema which result from severe lack of glyconutrition, producing a misguided inflammation. In short, because glyconutrition is lacking, our immune system over reacts to certain foreign substances in our body, which normally it should be able to easily handle. Without glyconutrition in proper supply, asthma and allergies produce exaggerated inflammatory responses.

· Underactive immune systems - from lack of glyconutrition - can produce colds and flu, cancers of all types, bronchitis, ear infections, shingles, strep, TB, urinary yeast infection, hepatitis B and C, sinusitis, and Candida. Again, lack of glyconutrition leads to the incapacity of the immune system to regulate itself properly. The 1985 issue of Cancer Research, scientists noted the fact that cancer cells in the stomach and colon were associated with a lack of specific sugars (glyconutrition) or deformed sugar molecules.

· Auto-immune disease such as Lupus, Rheumatoid arthritis, MS, Psoriasis, and Type I & Type II Diabetes occur when the immune system goes into overdrive attacking healthy cell tissue. Such activity is linked to low levels of specific elements found in glyconutrition.

· Inflammatory disorders such as Fibromyalgia, ulcers, heart disease, colitis, are linked to improper levels of glyconutrition in the diet. For example, in the January-March 1998 issue of Integrative Physiological and Behavioral Science, tested subjects took supplements of Aloe Vera extract (containing glyconutrition compounds - especially, acetylated mannans) and reported significant improvement in the symptoms accompanying Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. (Miracle Sugars, Rita Elkins, M. H. woodland Publishing, p. 33).

Glyconutrition: Ho-hum?

Most people of his era were amazed at what Isaac Newton produced. They were so spellbound by anything he did, a whole Parliament stopped mid-sentence to hear what he would say next.

Today, on the other hand, I am amazed at the fact that glyconutrition holds the answer to so many maladies - perhaps thousands - …and, so few are even aware of the subject. Most doctors don't know about glyconutrion despite the fact that glyconutrition is listed in the PDR (Physicians Desk Reference), the “bible” of the medical world, used by 99% of all doctors.

One thing about good old Sir Isaac. When he made a discovery, he knew what he had and he used it, bettering the world in which he lived. An entire generation could see the progress and named an era for him.

Will we do the same with glyconutrition…what may be the greatest medical discovery in the medical history of the last century?

When you are laid off or fired, you may begin to panic. There may be no worse feeling than not knowing where your next paycheck is going to come from. Sometimes we lose our jobs through no fault of our own, and other times we may have an idea of what we had done wrong. Either way, you have to get right on your search for something new. One thing that I was taught in college was that your search for jobs should be taken very seriously, almost as if it were a job.

When I was out of college there weren’t really many places online in which to do a search, but there were a few. My search for jobs was done through the classifieds and through the school placement program. This was never easy, and being right out of college never makes it easy to find something good. What is important when you are in this type of position is to treat your search as if you were going to the office. Spend your entire day doing things related to finding a job, and you will have many great possibilities soon enough.

You should always start your search for jobs early in the morning and spend your entire day on the hunt. This should include sharpening your resume, studying the current trends in your particular field, and scoping out job leads. You should find great sites online that have job offerings in your area, and you should spend a lot of time on there looking for leads. Of course, the most important things are going on interviews and sending out resumes. Spend a good amount of time doing these things, and you will find what you are looking for.

A search for jobs is never easy, and some have an easier time than others. When you don’t have a lot of experience yet, don’t be discouraged if you have to go on many interviews before you get an offer. This is just the way it is, and it does not mean you are not a good candidate. If, however, your search for jobs stretches out into months, and you have been doing all you can, you may have to think about a few things. Rethink your resume and your approach, and seek help from someone to find out if you are doing something wrong. There may be just a few small things that you are missing, and that can turn everything around.

It's only natural to assume your surroundings are fairly safe. Especially if you reside in middle-class suburbia like most of us do. Take a quick gander down your street and you'll probably spot other homes just like yours, along with a few trees and sidewalks. Not too scary. However, it's impossible to tell when danger might emerge. Harmful people and animals can surprise us out of nowhere. That evening jog you take with pride could turn deadly if a stray dog were to attack you. My step-mother has always been one to go for evening strolls. She enjoys a nice brisk walk after dinner. She claims it works off the extra calories. It's called dog pepper spray, because it was created to warn off large/aggressive K-9s, but it will certainly work of other living things. This is something you should put some thought into if you're a nature nut or enjoy jogging, walking or running on a regular basis. A good can of pepper spray can go a long ways in a confrontation. Not only does the pepper temporary blind the attacker, but it causes them to feel sick and disoriented as well. This is the perfect form of self-defense for today's world.

Bill Promptly

Ever find yourself so busy building your business that you don't get around to billing regularly? You're not alone. This is a common – but potentially crippling – problem.

If you don't already have a system in place, start billing for projects on a regular basis. When taking on longer-term projects or clients, negotiate in advance for regular payments instead of allowing the amount to build up.

Create Incentives for Faster Payment

Small businesses can sometimes cut the time spent waiting for payment by offering a discount for quick payment. I've received bills from businesses offering discounts of 1% or 2% for payment within 10 days. If I was going to pay the bill within 30 days anyway, I'm likely to pay up right away to get that extra discount. Good for my bottom line; good for the business's cash flow.

Avoid Slow Pay and No Pay Customers From the Start

The best way to avoid cash-flow problems because of people not paying is to weed them out before they start owing you money. So if someone is about to become a significant customer, do your homework. Check out credit references. Call other businesses that have had a relationship with the client.

Use Barter Instead of Cash

You could reduce the strain on your immediate cash if you need something from someone and can offer goods or services of your own in return.

Trim Your Inventory

OK, so you can't go to a "just-in-time" inventory management system like many larger manufacturers. How about "just-in-less-time"? Money spent on inventory is money tha's not producing any interest or savings for you.

Sometimes reducing inventory can be pretty simple. I've seen restaurateurs cut back on the size of their wine cellars, focusing on quality wines from a few regions instead of trying to be all things to all diners. If the customer still has good choices, it might not matter that he has fewer than before.

Consider Consolidating Your Loans

It's often tough for small businesses to borrow money. But I'm surprised at the number of ways entrepreneurs do manage to borrow. One small business owner I know has only one employee, but has four different loans related to his business: an equipment loan, a car loan, a business line of credit and a business credit card.

If you also have several loans, review the rates and terms on each one. You may be able to consolidate two or more loans into a lower-interest account and improve cash flow. I'm generally not a fan of stretching out repayments, but if you're thinking of talking to a lender about consolidating existing loans into a new one, you might look at taking on a longer-term loan in exchange for lower payments.

Hercules was charged with killing the vicious and giant Nemean Lion. None of his weapons could cut through the lion's skin, so he was finally forced to wrestle it to the ground and strangle it with his bare hands.

Hercules kept the lion's skin, and it came in very handy. His next task was the Lernean Hydra, a dragon with seven heads. And, as if multiple heads weren't enough of a problem, when any head was cut off, two more would grow in it's place! The Lion's skin helped protect Hercules from the heads while he set about to find a way to kill it.

Hera, Zeus's wife, wanted Hercules dead. She sent a crab to distract Hercules from his fight with the Hydra. Unfortunately, Hercules was only distracted long enough to crush the crab under his foot. Hera placed the crab in the sky to remember it's sacrifice.

Every family differs when it comes to holiday dinner traditions. Some never stray from Grandma's fruitcake recipe while other families, a bit more adventurous, explore cookbooks and magazines to uncover a new dish.

Infant eczema disease and disorder of the skin

The word ‘eczema’ is derived from the Greek meaning to ‘boil over’, describing the bubbly and hot appearance of active eczema. The words eczema and dermatitis mean the same, referring to a particular type of skin inflammation, which has potentially multiple different causes.

More specifically, atopic eczema refers to a very characteristic itchy skin rash, which typically starts in infancy or childhood. It tends to affect different parts of the skin at different stages of the person’s development, but at some point usually involves the skin creases (flexures) of the arms and legs.

It is more common in those with a family history of atopic eczema, asthma or hay fever. Eczema is a complex disease and multiple factors contribute to its development. However, genetic factors play a big role and various environmental triggers (for example, the house dust mite, bacterial toxins, hard water, climatic factors, air-borne allergens and pollution) may aggravate it.

Eczema tends to follow a fluctuating course. You can expect the child’s eczema to flare at times when he/she is ‘stressed’, for example, by teething pain.

It may flare when they are unwell with viral or bacterial infections and after having vaccinations. Anything that tends to dry the skin, eg. soaps, shampoo, bubble baths, detergents or chlorine will aggravate eczema. Contact with wool, synthetic clothing and animal hair will also aggravate it. In teenagers eczema may flare at exam times.

Atopic eczema usually starts on the scalp or cheeks in infants. It may even start as cradle cap. It later spreads to the limbs and body and in some children may be widespread for a time. At the crawling stage it is usually worst on the backs of the elbows and the fronts of the knees.

When the child is a little older the eczema settles in its characteristic location at the skin creases of the arms and legs. In teenagers and adults it may be worst on the hands.

The first principle of eczema treatment is to avoid those things that make eczema worse. Irritants like soaps and bubble bath should be avoided and substituted with an oily or emollient alternative.

Allergens like dog dander must be minimised and measures taken to reduce the house dust mite in the child’s environment.

Clothing and bed covers should be 100% cotton if possible. Heat and perspiration may make the itch intolerable.

Therefore the child’s environment should be kept cool. In particular, the bedroom should be well ventilated.

Emollients are products that moisturise and soften the dry skin, which is the central problem in atopic eczema. This therapy is a crucial part of your treatment plan for your child. Emollients are safe and can be used frequently. There are many choices on the market at present.

In general, when the skin is very dry an oil-based emollient, for example emulsifying ointment or paraffin gel, will be the most efficient.

As the skin improves a cream like Silcock’s base may be used. Emollients should be considered in three situations.

Firstly, they should be used as a moisturiser applied twice or three times daily all over. Care should be taken to apply emollients gently in the direction of the hair (to avoid irritating the hair follicles).

Some of these contain an antiseptic which will help reduce the

numbers of bugs on the skin. Regular bathing with emollients is essential to help reduce secondary bacterial infection, – a common problem in atopic eczema.

After two months the white willow herb proved to be superior to the placebo pill.

Restore Points are snapshots of the state your operating system was in during that time. Windows XP automatically creates a restore point when it senses a major change in your operating system. And Restore Points are created every 24 hours as a safety measure. But you can create a Restore Point manually any time you feel there is a need.

If you have a change of some sort that causes problems with the operating system, you can tell Windows XP to revert to any Restore Point established before the problem occured. After the rollback, every change in the operating system that happened after that Restore Point is eliminated.

Restore Points are generally used when you experience such pc problems as extremely slow performance of the system. Your computer responds far more slowly that it did before you installed or updated something.

Other times to run Restore Point is when your system stops responding after an update or installation. Be sure to create a Restore Point before making any significant change to your computer's software or configuration.

To set a Restore Point, click on Start, point to All Programs, click on Accessories, System Tools, and then click on System Restore. When the System Restore windows appears, click on the button labeled "Create A Restore Point" and click Next.

Enter a description of the restore point, something like "Before scanner device driver install" and click the Create button. A notification will inform you that a Restore Point was made. Now click the Close button and you're all set.

Reverting to a Restore Point is as easy as create one. Click on Start, point to All Programs, click Accessories, System Tools, and System Restore. When the System Restore window appears, click on the "Restore My Computer To An Earlier Time" and then click on the Next button.

Choose the date on which you set the Restore Point and click the Next button. Review the information presented and save any open files. Shut down any other programs that may be running.

Click on the Next button and now your computer will restart. As it restarts, it will present a message informing you of the restore point. Click OK and you're done.

After reading all about setting and reverting to restore points, you should make a known restore point if you have not done so already. Whatever you do after reading this article, don't say I'll get to it soon. Familarize yourself with this feature and create a restore point one.
